On February 5, 2024, Professor Shibley Telhami participated in a panel, "Palestinian politics and society after the war," hosted by the Center for Middle East Policy at Brookings to discuss the future of Palestinian politics and society in light of the war between Israel and Hamas and the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The event was moderated by Joyce Karam (Senior News Editor - Al-Monitor). Professor Telhami was joined by Tahani Mustafa (Senior Analyst, Palestine - International Crisis Group) and Khalil Shikaki (Professor of Political Science and Director - Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research)
